Im Vergleich zu Vektor Z und Vektor X weist der gelb-schwarz lackierte Vektor Y sowohl farblich als auch von seiner Form keine Ähnlichkeiten zu früheren Vektoren auf. Er unterscheidet sich weder in seiner Manövrierfähigkeit noch seiner Bewaffnung zu den anderen beiden Vektoren. Mit ihm als Kopf lässt sich Vektor Y in Verbindung mit Vektor Z und Vektor X zu Aquarion Spada transformieren. Wie bei allen Vektoren gibt es zwei Exemplare von ihm - was zunächst dem Umstand geschuldet ist, dass männliche und weibliche Elements getrennt voneinander operieren.
