Kaguras Gnis ist ganz auf seine animalischen Charakterzüge zugeschnitten, wodurch er sowohl in der Luft als auch am Boden, wo sich der Mithra Gnis meistens auf allen Vieren fortbewegt, gleichermaßen schnell ist. Generell ist er in puncto Geschwindigkeit den Aquarions deutlich überlegen, was es nicht nur erschwert ihn zu treffen, sondern zugleich dafür sorgt, dass seine Angriffe kaum zu verteidigen sind. Als Waffe benutzt er eine Axt, die beinahe die gleiche Größe wie der Mithra Gnis erreicht. Darüber hinaus kann der Mithra Gnis eine Reihe von Techniken einsetzen, wie etwa einen ganzen Wirbelsturm zu erzeugen. Allerdings profitiert er auch von Kaguras besonderen Kräften, die identisch mit denen der Elements sind.
