Nagatoshi ist ein guter Bekannter der Familie Aoyagi und kennt Kanna bereits seit sie geboren wurde. Seit einiger Zeit ist er auch beruflich mit der Familie verbunden, da er die Drehbücher für Blue March schreibt. Als Kanna ein paar Probleme mit einigen etwas komplizierten Stellen bei ihrer ersten Arbeit als Synchronsprecherin für die Eroges hat, erklärt er sich dazu bereit sie dabei zu unterstützen, und Kanna ist dem ebenfalls nicht abgeneigt, empfand sie doch schon immer ein wenig mehr für ihn als bloße Freundschaft.
