Manas Mutter arbeitet ebenfalls im familieneigenen Restaurant „Pig’s Tail“ mit, meistens als Bedienung oder unterstützend in der Küche. Dank ihres ausgleichenden Einflusses kehren die beiden schnell wieder auf den Teppich zurück, offenbar fürchten sie aber auch, was passiert, wenn Ayumi sich ernsthaft aufregen sollte.
