Susanoo ist der ehemalige Meister von Touka und Kaede, welche sich inzwischen Hikaru angeschlossen haben. Er erkennt dessen unerschütterliches Herz an, aber meint, dass das schon alles sei, weshalb er sich wundert, dass er Kaede kriegen konnte. Er hält auch Miyuki gefangen, welche als Köder fungieren soll.

In Wahrheit versteht er sich aber hervorragend mit Miyuki, da die beiden eine Sache haben, die sie verbindet: Sie wuchs mit Hikaru zusammen wie Geschwister auf, er dahingegen ist Hikarus wahrer, kleiner Bruder, was er bislang nur Miyuki anvertraute und auch erst nach seiner Niederlage ans Tageslicht kam.
