Der Rinderteufel aus der „Reise nach Westen“ hat sich mit den Dämonen aus den Geschichten des Issun-boushi und Momotarou verbündet, um gegen den Dämonenkönig zu kämpfen, und das obwohl sie eigentlich die Bösewichte in ihren Geschichten sind. Eine Welt, in der die Geschichten niemals enden, wollen sie aber um jeden Preis verhindern.
