Als kleiner Junge wurde er, wie die meisten P.A.N.D.R.A Mitglieder, von Kyousuke Hyoubu gerettet und auf sein Schiff gebracht, auf dem er mit den anderen Espern wie in einer Familie aufwuchs.

Er selber ist ein Esper mit der Fähigkeit, den Schall zu beeinflussen und kann so andere mit seinen ausgestoßenen hohen Sequenzen lähmen. Zudem kann er alle Geräusche in seinem Umkreis genauestens lokalisieren und so nahende Feinde abhören oder deren Verstecke ausfindig machen.
