Shirou ist ebenfalls Mitglied der Gruppe P.A.N.D.R.A und ist einer der Ersten, den Kyousuke Hyoubu als Kind zu sich holte. Er wuchs zusammen mit den anderen jungen Espern, die von Hyoubu gerettet wurden, auf einem Schiff auf, das allen Espern eine Heimat und eine Familie bietet.

Shirou ist ein Esper mit der Fähigkeit jegliche Carbon Atome in seinem Körper so zu formen wie er will. Dies verleiht im unter anderem die Fähigkeit Flügel zu formen, mit denen er fliegen kann.
