Chika Koizumi ist eine Kindheitsfreundin von Ryouta und ist schon seit langer Zeit in ihn verliebt, sie bringt es aber nicht fertig dies ihm zu zeigen. Beide verbindet eine tiefe Beziehung die nicht nur auf Vertrauen basiert und ist zurückzuführen auf ein Versprechen aus ihrer Kindheit. Sie ist intelligent und hat einen lebhaften Charakter, wird aber auch schnell mal eifersüchtig wenn es um Ryouta geht und bringt ihn oft in unangenehme Situationen indem sie ihm Streiche spielt obwohl sie eigentlich nur das Beste für ihn will.
