Mikimoto ist der Verfasser des „Atonement Newspaper“, mit dem er andere Schüler aufwiegelt, sich an den Mitschülerinnen zu vergehen, die in der Zeitung genannt werden, indem er dort Anschuldigungen gegen sie vorbringt, sie seien verkommene Subjekte der Gesellschaft, die durch körperliche Züchtigung geläutert werden müssen. Er redet sich selber ein, diese Artikel deswegen zu schreiben, um seine journalistischen Fähigkeiten zu schulen und auf den Prüfstand zu stellen, in seinen Hintergedanken hat aber auch er nur eine bestimmte Schülerin, nämlich Madoka, im Kopf, die er über alles begehrt. Mikimoto hält sich bei den Vergewaltigungen, die Ohbaris Clique durchführt, trotzdem zunächst meist als Beobachter im Hintergrund. Seine Faszination darüber, wie viel Einfluss er mit seinen Artikeln ausüben kann, geht allmählich in einen Machtrausch über, in dem er keine Grenzen mehr kennt und jegliche Hindernisse skrupellos aus dem Weg räumt.
