Ryouta Satou ist seit seiner Kindheit mit Chika befreundet und in sie verliebt obwohl er es nicht offen zeigt, da er seine Gefühle selbst noch nicht zu verstehen scheint, sehr zum Leidwesen von Chika. Er hat einen lebendigen Charakter und ist generell zu jedem freundlich, hat aber auch oft verrückte Ideen, die meist schmerzhaft für ihn enden, da er von einem Missverständnis in das nächste gerät und froh sein kann mit heiler Haut davon zukommen; das gelingt ihm allerdings auch nicht immer.
