Ryuu ist ein Klassenkamerad von Youhei und Mayu. Er hat fürchterliche Angst vor Katzen und erschrickt somit auch erst, als er Chi das erste Mal sieht. Jedoch kann er sich von Treffen zu Treffen immer mehr mit ihr anfreunden, bis er nach Chis Rettungsaktion gar keine Angst mehr vor Katzen hat.
Er trägt immer seine Mütze, sogar unter dem Geburtstags-Hütchen auf Youheis Geburtstag.

Er ist der kleine Bruder der Verkäuferin aus dem Haustierbedarf.
