Die Mutter von Kazuto und Suguha ist eine vielbeschäftigte Frau. Ihr Beruf spannt sie so sehr ein, dass sie meistens erst sehr spät nach Hause kommt und ihre beiden Kinder in der Zwischenzeit auf sich gestellt sind. Ihre leibliche Tochter Suguha wusste davon bislang nichts, erst als Kazuto in Sword Art Online festsitzt, erzählt es ihr Midori. Sie glaubt, dass Kazuto die Begeisterung für Computer von ihr hat.
