Erena sitzt in der Klasse genau vor Akane und wird von dieser auf die merkwürdige Kamera auf dem Nebenplatz angesprochen, worauf sie ihr Auskunft gibt, dass es sich dabei um Himawari, eine Mitschülerin, handelt. Akane unterliegt daraufhin dem Missverständnis, dass es sich bei der Maschine selbst um Himawari handeln müsste, dabei ist es nur eine bewegliche Kamera, mit der Himawari von Zuhause aus am Unterricht teilnehmen kann.
