Er und sein Mitarbeiter des »National Research Institute of Police Science and High Bridge Heavy Industries« möchten mit Hilfe von Miyuki und Natsumi ihren Roboter »HAL K-2!« und den Kraftanzug »Fitter R-1« testen. Er arbeitet weitgehend mit Miyuki zusammen und gibt ihr genaue Anweisung für die Testphase und ist sehr zufrieden. Nur bei Natsumi hat er nicht grundlos leichte Bedenken. Jedoch bei der Präsentation vor Publikum läuft alles reibungslos, bis jemand die Veranstaltung torpedieren möchte. Die Stimme aus den Lautsprechern kommt ihnen sehr bekannt vor, da es ein ehemaliger Mitarbeiter von dem Projekt ist.
