Lady de Jarjeyes ist die Mutter von Oscar und Ehefrau vom General de Jarjeyes.

Mit dem französischem Hof hat sie nur wenig zu tun, was sich allerdings ändert, als Madame du Barry sie plötzlich zu ihrer Hofdame ernennt, um Oscar auf ihre Seite zu ziehen.
