Hachibi ist der achtschwänzige Bijuu und somit nach dem neunschwänzigen Kyuubi der zweitstärkste. Sein richtiger Name lautet Gyuuki. Sein Jinchuuriki ist der stets gut gelaunte Killer Bee, deren Beziehung recht speziell ist. Nie zuvor scheint ein Jinchuuriki eine gute Beziehung zu seinem Bijuu zu pflegen, Gyuuki und Bee ist dies jedoch gelungen. Nicht nur dass Bee die richtige Gestalt des Hachibi annehmen und kontrollieren kann, die beiden kommunizieren und scherzen auch viel miteinander.
