Den leiblichen Vater von Fuyumi ereilte in der Vergangenheit ein übernatürliches Schicksal. Seine Frau und Fuyumis leibliche Mutter »fusionierte« mit ihrem Doppelgänger aus der Dämonenwelt. Fortan findet sich der menschliche Ehemann in einem Disput mit dem Mann der »dämonischen Mutter« wieder. In einem langen Gespräch klären er und Heads, wer fortan den Ehemann für die »neu geschaffene« Neyn spielen soll. Er entschließt sich, seine Tochter von nun an alleine zu erziehen. Für diesen Entschluss, sein eigenes Glück für das Glück seiner Tochter zu opfern, erntete er von Heads große Anerkennung.
