Gemeinsam mit Cathy McMahon und Jean-Patrick Shapplin bildet Donny unter Führung von Elvy Hadhiyat die neugegründete Alpha-Schwadron. Einst absolvierte er mit seiner jetzigen Kommandantin und Cathy unter Jean-Patrick seine militärische Ausbildung, seitdem die vier auch miteinander befreundet sind. Für Donny war Elvy aber immer noch ein Stück weit mehr. Aufgrund seines milden Charakters geht er das Ganze allerdings etwas behutsam an und fällt nicht gleich mit der Tür ins Haus.
