Yashiro war anfangs die Verlobte von Chiaki. Die Verlobung wurde von deren Eltern arrangiert. Chiaki ließ sie jedoch abblitzen, als Yashiro ihm von ihren wahren Gefühlen erzählt, da er sich schon in Maron verliebt hatte.
Yashiro macht wie auch Maron und Miyako Rhythmische Sportgymnastik und war bei einem Wettbewerb eine Konkurrentin von Maron.
