Wakabas Vater hat einen Hang zu ausschweifender Theatralik. Er neigt dazu alles zu dramatisieren, wenn es um seine Tochter geht, und macht als Erziehungsberechtigter keine wirklich gute Figur, weil er im einen Augenblick als cooler Vater dastehen möchte, der seiner Tochter alles gestattet und im nächsten schon wieder Wakaba wie seinen Augapfel behüten will.
