Seiichi ist die rechte Hand des Yakumo-Clanoberhaupts Kiyoshi. Ihm fällt die Leitung des Clans nach dem Tod des Paten zu, so dass er über die Offerte des Innami-Clans, sie zu schützen im Austausch gegen eine der beiden Yakumo-Schwestern, entscheiden muss, die er aber barsch ablehnt. Er fühlt sich den Schwestern gegenüber verantwortlich, da er sie aufwachsen gesehen hat und daher so etwas wie ein großer Bruder für sie ist. Die feindliche Übernahme des Clans kann er letztendlich aber nicht verhindern.
