Sayori ist die Vorgesetzte von Maho im Supermarkt, in dem sie arbeitet. Sie ist ebenfalls in der Nachtschicht tätig. Ihre Aufgabe als Aufsicht nimmt sie ernst, zwar kann Sayori streng und bestimmend sein, doch im Grunde kommt man mit ihr sehr gut aus. Obwohl Sayori im gleichen Alter wie Maho ist, fühlt diese sich in ihrer Gegenwart älter, was zum einen daran liegt, dass sie es beruflich weitergebracht hat, aber auch einfach daran, weil Sayori eine gewisse Frische und Freude ausstrahlt. Hamazaki hat ihr den Spitznamen Saorin verpasst.
