Ririka Tachikawa geht noch zur Grundschule, hat jedoch im Karuta schon den Sprung in die A-Klasse geschafft. Sie gilt als Karuta-Wunderkind und wird bereits als die nächste Shinobu Wakamiya gehandelt. Im westlichen Qualifikationsturnier für das Königin- und Meister-Match treffen Chihaya und Ririka aufeinander.
