Catherine Glass ist die Tochter des amtierenden Präsidenten von Macross Frontier, Howard Glass, und bekleidet selbst den Rang des Zweiten Leutnants im Generalstab der Neuen Vereinten Nationen.

Ihre hohe Intelligenz prädestiniert sie für ihren Job als Offizier, der viel strategisches Denken erfordert, sie zeigt manchmal aber einen gewissen Mangel an Flexibilität. In der Vergangenheit hatte sie eine Beziehung zu Ozma Lee, die aber im Streit endete. Ganz verschwunden sind ihre Gefühle von damals jedoch noch nicht - was auf Gegenseitigkeit beruht, beide sind jedoch ausgesprochen stur, was das angeht. Aktuell ist sie mit Leon Mishima, dem Stabschef ihres Vaters, liiert.
