Zu seiner Mutter hat Tsumugu leider kein gutes Verhältnis. Während sie in der Stadt lebt und arbeitet, wohnt ihr Sohn bei seinem Großvater in Oshiohshi. Trotzdem macht sie sich Sorgen um ihren Sohn und Isamu, weswegen sie sie auch mit den Dingen, die sie brauchen, versorgt. Doch auch wenn ihr Sohn nicht viel von ihr hält, versucht sie alles um ihm näher zu kommen, was Tsumugu aber abweist.
