Die Enkelin des Direktors der Ashford-Akademie und Präsidentin des Schülerrats, Milly Ashford, ist eine lebensfrohe und neugierige junge Frau, die es liebt Zeit mit ihren Freunden zu verbringen. Durch ihr freches bzw. verspieltes Wesen bringt sie vor allem Lelouch und Shirley öfters in heikle Situationen, in der Hoffnung beide endlich zu verkuppeln. Außerdem ist sie an der Schule neben Suzaku die einzige Person, die über Lelouchs und Nunnallys royale Herkunft Bescheid weiß.

Auf Grunde familiärer Verpflichtungen ist Milly gezwungen, sich mit dem Grafen Lloyd Asplund zu verloben. Weil sie aber ein ausgeprägtes Verantwortungsbewusstsein besitzt, fällt ihr dieser Schritt nicht schwer.
