Kimie Yamanka ist eine von den sogenannten »Negativen Drei« und wie alle anderen in dieser Gruppe führt sie ein sehr trostloses Leben. Sie musste nach Tokyo ziehen, weil ihr Vater dort einen Job gefunden hatte, aber für sie erweist sich das neue Leben in der neuen Stadt als nicht gerade einfach. Es fällt ihr auch ziemlich schwer neue Freunde zu finden, weswegen sie in der Schule immer alleine ist. Yuuki und die anderen Mitglieder der Lebensberatung haben es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht Kimie dabei zu helfen ihr trostloses Leben hinter sich zu lassen.
