Mari ist ein Mitglied des Okkultimus-Clubs der Schule und liebt einfach alles was damit zu tun hat. Dadurch erlaubt sie es sich auch gerne mal, die Leuten mit ihrem Okkult-Faible zu ärgern, genau wie sie es mit Emi getan hat. Sie belegte Emis Kunstclub mit einem Fluch, wodurch sie die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zog, doch wies sie hinterher jede Schuld von sich, den Club verflucht zu haben. Nachdem Rino ihr klar gemacht hatte, dass sie an diesen Fluch und auch sonst an Okkultismus nicht glaubt, beweist Mari ihr das Gegenteil und hat seitdem jedes mal Spaß daran, Rino zu hypnotisieren, damit sie tut was sie will.
