Suika ist eine Yokai, die dem Anschein nach von der negativen Welle, welche alle Yokai Amok laufen lässt, verschont geblieben ist. Sie lebt friedlich in einem kleinen Dorf in der Wüste, in dem außer ihr nur Menschen leben. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Dörfern, wird Suika von den Bewohnern verehrt, geliebt und beschützt, fast schon wie eine Göttin. Zudem ist sie so etwas wie die Anführerin und Sprecherin des Dorfes. Besuchern, gleich ob Yokai oder Menschen, heißt sie auf das herzlichste Willkommen.
