Jii ist der einzige, der von der Identität Kaitos Bescheid weiß. Er steht treu hinter diesem und ist der ehemalige Assistent von Kaitos Vater. Nun unterstützt er Kaito bei seinen Raubzügen. Von ihm wird er »Gramps« genannt. Er ist in alten Zeiten ein begnadeter Billard-Spieler gewesen und verdiente damit sein Geld. Heute besitzt er einen eigenen Billard-Club, The Blue Parrot, der allerdings nicht gut besucht ist.
