Count Cruhteo ist wie Slaine ein ziemlicher Idealist und hält geschlossen zur Prinzessin. Das ist aber neben den blonden Haaren auch schon die einzige Gemeinsamkeit, die er mit dem Jungen hat. Ganz im Gegenteil: Diese eine Gemeinsamkeit ist seiner Meinung nach schon eine zu viel. Denn für den Jungen von der Erde hat er nie ein gutes Wort übrig, schikaniert ihn wo und wann es nur geht und lässt mehr als einmal seinen Zorn an Slaine aus.
