Leon entspricht mit seiner leicht aufbrausenden Art ganz seinem rebellenhaften optischen Erscheinungsbild. So überrascht es auch nicht, dass er ein sehr aktiver Mensch ist, dessen Talent eher im sportlichen Bereich liegt. Denn Leon ist innerhalb der Hope’s Peak Privatakademie als ultimativer Baseballspieler angesehen. Nichtsdestotrotz hielt Leon sein Baseballtraining zuletzt in Grenzen, da er viel lieber für seine Fähigkeiten als Musiker anerkannt werden wollte. Die Hintergründe hierzu liegen in seiner Zuneigung zu einem anderen Mädchen. Leon verlor jedoch nie vollständig das Interesse am Baseball, einer Sportart, die er bereits seit jüngster Kindheit betrieben hat und auch wenn er zuletzt nicht allzu viel Zeit darin investierte, macht ihm so schnell keiner etwas im Baseball vor.
