Yukitos verstorbene Mutter war wie ihr Sohn eine Puppenspielerin, die umher zog, immer auf der Suche nach dem nächsten Publikum, das sie verzaubern konnte. Sie brachte Yukito all ihre Tricks des Puppenspielerdaseins bei und vermachte ihm sogar ihre kleine Puppe, mit der er heute sein Geld verdient. Jedoch war seine Mutter immer viel erfolgreicher als es Yukito jetzt ist. So konnte sie gleichzeitig mehrere Puppen tanzen lassen und nebenbei sogar noch Gitarre spielen, so dass sie immer tosenden Applaus erntete.

Ihr großer Traum indes war es, das legendäre Mädchen im Himmel zu finden und sie endlich von ihrem Leiden zu befreien. Diesen Wunsch vererbte sie an Yukito weiter, der nun auch auf dieser Suche ist.
