Hansode ist Schülerin der Hakoniwa Academy und besucht anfangs die Klasse 1 zusammen mit Zenkichi Hitoyoshi. Später wechselt sie in die Klasse 13.
Sie und Zenkichi sind beste Freunde. Außerdem scheint sie sich gut mit Tanzaku Aso zu verstehen.
Hansode ist frech und vorwitzig und gehört keinem Club an. Allerdings ist sie eine sehr gute Informationsquelle was die Schule und deren Schüler angeht. Ihr auffälligstes Merkmal ist jedoch ihr Essverhalten. Es vergeht kaum eine Minute, in der man sie nicht essen sieht.
