Ikumi Mito ist eine Schülerin der 92. Schüler-Generation an der Elitekochschule Teehaus Toutsuki und Mitglied des Donburi-Forschungsclubs. Sie fällt durch ihren auffällig freizügigen Kleidungsstil auf, was viele weibliche Mitschüler sehr aufregt.

Sie kommt aus einer sehr wohlhabenden Familie, die in der Fleischindustrie sehr bekannt ist. Sie ist eine sehr mutige sowie selbstsichere Person und lässt sich von nichts und niemanden einschüchtern, was ihr aber nicht immer zugutekommt. So unterschätzte sie Souma Yukihara zu stark, weshalb sie das »Shokugeki« (Kochduell) gegen ihn verloren hat.
