Kodama ist eine Mini-Ninja - Meisterin der Täuschungen, erschaffen von Marller mit dem Ziel, Misstrauen und Zwietracht bei Belldandy und Keiichi zu säen. Zunächst beobachtet sie die beiden um dann agieren zu können.

Ihr Versuch in Belldandy Eifersucht zu wecken, scheitert aber an deren Vertrauen zu Keiichi. Komada will sich aufgrund ihres Versagens das Leben nehmen, aber Belldandy verbietet es ihr. Überwältigt von Belldandys warmherziger Aura beschließt Komada ihr treu zu dienen und sie zu beschützen.

Bevor Marller sie in ihr jetziges Erscheinungsbild verwandelte, war sie eine Ratte und ihre beste Freundin war damals Hikari, mit der sie sich das Essen teilte.
