Kouki arbeitet als Chef-Pâtissier in der Konditorei »Les Cerises«, in der auch Rinko einen Nebenjob angenommen hat. Er hat relativ schnell Gefallen an Rinko gefunden und empfindet nicht nur etwas für sie, sondern findet durch Rinko auch eine Menge Inspiration, die ihm bei seinen neusten Kreationen nützlich sein könnten und gerade jetzt wo er vor einem großem Wettbewerb steht, ist ihm Rinko eine große Hilfe. Doch damit ist es für Kouki nicht vorbei, denn er möchte unbedingt, dass Rinko seine Freundin wird, einziges Problem... sie hat bereits einen Freund. Doch das hindert ihn nicht daran, es wenigstens zu versuchen, und bittet sogar Rinko sich zwischen ihm und Takeo zu entscheiden.
