Satomi Ishikawa ist ebenfalls eine von Kotokos besten Freundinnen. Zusammen mit ihr und Jinko, einer weiteren Freundin, besucht sie die Klasse 3-F der Tonan High School.
Was ihren Freundeskreis betrifft, so sieht man sie stets mit Jinko zusammen. Aber im Gegensatz zu ihr ist sie die Ruhigere und auch intellektuell Begabtere von beiden. Genau wie die anderen rät auch sie Kotoko, Naoki zu vergessen, aber andererseits findet sie Trost bei ihr, wenn sie abgewiesen wird.
