Hijiri ist mit Keiichi befreundet. Sie ist von Natur aus sehr neugierig und ungemein direkt. Ganz unverblümt stellt sie die Frage, ob Belldandy Keiichis Freundin ist. Als sie Belldandy auf ihren merkwürdigen Kleidungsstil anspricht, tauscht Belldandy ihre Göttinnentracht mit Hilfe von Magie vor den Augen von Hijiri und ihrer Mutter. Leicht irritiert ist Hijiri von dem Schauspiel, aber zeigt deswegen keine Scheu. Sie ist ein lebensfrohes und freundliches Mädchen und nennt Belldandy auch liebevoll Onee-chan nennt.

Randbemerkung:
Hijiri ist eine Art Running-Gag der Serie, sie taucht des Öfteren in kleinen Rollen auf.
