Misaki ist im dritten Jahr an der Suiko Universität und bewohnt das Zimmer 203 im Sakura-Wohnheim.
Sie ist eine begnadete Zeichnerin, die ihr Talent aber nur für Anime und Manga verwendet, weshalb sie von der Leitung ins Sakurasou geschickt wurde.
Misaki ist eigentlich immer gut gelaunt und ein einziges Energiebündel, worauf besonders Sorata anfangs nicht wirklich klar kommt, andere jedoch kann sie sehr schnell mit ihrem Enthusiasmus anstecken. Misaki hegt Gefühle für ihren Mitbewohner Jin, der diese allerdings nicht wirklich erwidert und sich lieber in Affären stürzt, was sie beizeiten leicht deprimiert, trotzdem ist sie ein stets gut gelauntes Mädchen und steht ihren Freunden immer zur Seite.
