Mit Hilfe des Heiligenscheins von Loveriel verwandelt sich Hikari Jinno in den Krieger-Engel Jiburiru Aries. Ursprünglich als kurzfristiger Ersatz für die in Gefangenschaft geratene Rika gedacht, bekommt sie aber bald mehr Arbeit als ihr lieb ist. Die Posen und die Kampfansage hat sie zwar schon drauf, es fehlt ihr aber noch etwas an Erfahrung, mit ihren neuen Kräften umzugehen. Sie lernt jedoch schnell dazu und akkumuliert auch fleißig Amore, die für den Einsatz ihrer Kräfte benötigte Energie, wobei ihr Naoto, ihr Bruder, »behilflich« ist.

Außer dem Angel Cutter, den auch Jiburiru beherrscht, meistert sie noch andere Techniken, wie z.B. die Erzeugung eines Energieballs, den sie wie einen Fußball auf den Gegner kickt oder die Transformation in eine stärkere Version ihrer selbst. In der Zusammenarbeit mit Jiburiru entfaltet sich aber erst die ganze Macht der beiden und ihre Feinde können sich auf ein paar Überraschungen gefasst machen...
