Mana Kawamura ist der Star des Turmspringen-Clubs. Durch ihren Ehrgeiz und der enormen Erwartungshaltung an sie, trainiert sie meist stundenlang, um ihre Technik zu verfeinern, nimmt dabei allerdings keine Rücksicht auf ihre eigene Gesundheit. Dabei ist sie dem Club einst beigetreten, weil sie den Sport und das Wasser aus tiefstem Herzen geliebt hat, wovon nun aber nichts mehr zu sehen ist. Jegliche Bedenken bezüglich ihres Trainingsprogrammes werden von ihr kühl aber bestimmend abgeschlagen.
