Kou ist das absolute Gegenteil gegenüber ihrer jüngeren Schwester Teru. Denn im Gegensatz zu ihr, die die Ausstrahlung eines Teufels besitzt, hat Kou die eines Engels und benimmt sich auch mehr wie ein unschuldiges Mädchen, dem niemand weh tun möchte. Gerade deswegen fällt es den Menschen in ihrem Umfeld auch schwer Kou offen ihre Meinungen mitzuteilen. Ein gutes Beispiel dafür sind ihre Kochkünste, denn obwohl das Essen, das sie kocht scheußlich schmeckt und komisch riecht, traut sich niemand Kou ihr ehrlich die Meinung zu sagen und sie damit unter Umständen zu verletzen.
