Anfangs zeigt Theodor großes Misstrauen gegenüber seinen Kameraden. Vor Jahren versuchten er erfolglos mit seiner Familie aus der DDR zu fliehen und nun muss er fürchten, dass jemand in seiner Einheit ein Spitzel der Stasi sein könnte. Nachdem er Katia vor den BETA gerettet hat, beginnt er langsam ihr gegenüber Vertrauen aufzubauen, da sie ihn an seine verlorene Schwester erinnert. Auch beginnt er seine Sicht auf die anderen Mitglieder von Schwarzesmarken zu ändern.
