Hinagiku, auch oft nur Hina genannt, nimmt in der Serie den Platz des vernünftigen Menschenverstandes ein. Sie ist eine Stütze für die anderen Charaktere und hat meistens immer einen guten Ratschlag parat. Immerhin hat sie auch nicht umsonst die Position der Präsidentin des Schülerrats. Unglücklicherweise muss sie allerdings ihr Amt vom obersten Stockwerk des Uhrturms aus verrichten, was bei ihrer Höhenangst keinesfalls ein Zuckerschlecken ist. Hina steht was ihre Sportlichkeit angeht Hayate in nichts nach. Sie ist die Leiterin des Kendo-Clubs und macht des Öfteren von ihren Fähigkeiten gegenüber Hayate Gebrauch. Hina hat auch etwas für Hayate übrig, obwohl sie sich dies nicht so wirklich eingestehen möchte.
