Yayoi ist eine Schrein-Maid im Amami-Schrein und ebenfalls in der Lage, als Magical Girl Dämonen zu exorzieren. Früher kämpfte sie sogar mit anderen Mädchen zusammen als Team. Mit Matois Mutter ist Yayoi zudem auch sehr gut befreundet und kennt ihre Familie sowie Freunde generell sehr gut und unterstützt diese wo sie nur kann. In Yayoi findet Matoi schnell eine Vertrauensperson, nachdem diese ihr von ihrer Mutter erzählt.

Als Magical Girl besitzt sie den Gott des Wasserdrachen und macht sich so im Kampf auch seine Kraft zunutze.
