Maya Kawasaki ist Schülerin der Fujihaya-Mädchenschule und ein Mitglied des Theaterclubs. Dort erhält sie die bedeutsame Rolle der Catherine in dem Schauspiel Sturmhöhe (Wuthering Heights). Zu Beginn fand sie noch Gefallen an der ganzen Aufmerksamkeit und dem Ruhm, den man ihr entgegen brachte, doch schon bald lernte sie auch die daraus resultierenden Schattenseiten kennen, wie zum Beispiel die fehlende Privatsphäre. Da Yasuko Sugimoto die Rolle des Heathcliff spielt, verbreitet sich in der Schule das Gerücht, die beiden würden etwas miteinander haben.
