Seit dem Epilog von Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A’s sind 4 Jahre vergangen. Hayate und die Wolkenritter sind seitdem beim Time-Space Administration Bureau und arbeiten auch weiterhin gelegentlich zusammen an neuen Vorfällen. Ihre neue Partnerin ist Reinforce II, welche auch als ihr Unison Device fungiert. Mittlerweile hat Hayate Nanoha und Fate bezüglich ihres Rankings übertroffen und versucht, durch ihre Arbeit im Administration Bureau, den Vorfall mit dem Book of Darkness wiedergutzumachen. Auch durch die Kritik einiger Mitglieder ihrer Einheit lässt sie sich nicht unterkriegen.
