Ein kleiner Junge, der seit den sonderbaren Vorfällen in Tokyo in einem Flüchtlingslager im Sugawa Park leben muss. Da er etwas schüchtern und zurückhaltend ist, wird Tagumi von den anderen dort lebenden Kindern öfters mal geärgert und getriezt, glücklicherweise gibt es da aber noch seine Freundin Marina, die er schon länger kennt. Sie vertreibt diese Gören mit purer Gewalt. Beide planen alleine in den Ruinen von Roppongi zu leben, da die Familie von Tagumi woanders hinzieht und sie ihre Trennung voneinander so vermeiden wollen.
